No new trader applications are currently being taken for 2021 events.  The only events which we plan to hold this year are rescheduled from 2020 cancellations, and are fully booked for traders.

More events may be added later in the year if the pandemic situation allows.  Please check back in spring for updates – no waiting list is being held. 


Please read the ‘Venues & Events‘ page for details on the venues and descriptions of the types of stalls we have at each different event BEFORE applying – not all events are suitable for all types of businesses.

REMEMBER – Brocantes are not craft fairs and general crafts are not suitable for these events.  The focus is on vintage and rustic wares, and any artisans attending must be able to fit with this ethos – for example, reworking used materials, employing traditional heritage craft methods, working with vintage patterns, etc.  The only venue suitable for makers who do not fit this theme is Judges Hotel where we have a spring and a Christmas event.

For events at Kirkleatham Museum it is essential that you hold Public Liability Insurance for stall holders.  Alcohol vendors at this venue will also need to obtain a TEN from Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council.

At all venues you will be provided with a standard trestle table (approx. 6ft) and 2 chairs.  Please note, at The Station this will be a 5ft table.  The Summer Brocante at The Museum is a fully outdoor event and you will be provided with a market stall.

Please note we do not accept stalls from franchises (for example but not limited to Body Shop at Home, Forever Living, Usbourne Book, etc.)
